Kaber Alingary’s life is an example of honesty, dedication, and service to his community. Born in Alingar district of eastern Laghman province, Afghanistan, his journey began with humble roots but soon blossomed into a story of professional excellence and commitment toward social values. His educational journey started at Sangar High School, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. After completing his schooling, Kaber pursued a diploma from the Police Academy, specializing in the Department of Criminal Police. His dedication and aptitude led him to serve in the Ministry of interior Affairs, focusing on crime prevention—an essential aspect of maintaining law and order in his homeland. pursued further studies in criminology and law, eventually earning a master’s degree abroad. Armed with knowledge and expertise, he returned to serve his country, continuing his work within the Ministry of Interior Affairs. However, the political landscape in Afghanistan took a toll on the stability of its government systems. In 1992, faced with the challenges of conflict and uncertainty, Kaber made the difficult decision to seek refuge abroad. Along with his family, he embarked on a journey to Canada, eventually settling in greater Toronto area. In his new home, he secured positions in government agencies and international organizations, leveraging his skills and experience to contribute to Canada. Despite his personal and professional busy life, He remained deeply connected to his Afghan communities in GTA. He became an elected member of the Afghan Paiwastoon community from its beginning, he actively participating all missions to support Afghan communities abroad and advocate for their rights. His commitment to the association’s goals earned him a top place among the people, where he continues to play a vital role in shaping its initiatives and outreach efforts.

He is still the key member of Afghan Paiwastoon Community’s leadership board. His activities and unique personality reflects the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity. From his beginnings in Afghanistan to his contributions in Canada, he has remained steadfast in all type situations and continued to community services, and solidarity with his fellow Afghans. Through his unwavering dedication,  he inspires hope and resilience in all who have the privilege of knowing his story.
