Jamal A Nasir, a resident of Toronto, Canada, was an experienced Humanitarian and Political situation analyst in the United Nations corridor. He possessed vast capabilities in conflict resolution, team leadership, Peacebuilding, and development.  Over the course of his career,    Jamal demonstrated 21 years of exemplary service in the United Nations and Non-Governmental Organizations Political and Security system. He had been deployed in various regions including Afghanistan, Pakistan, and African countries, utilizing his expertise to address complex political situations and contribute to humanitarian efforts.

During his 21 years of experienced in the field of UN/INGOs Political/Security structure, Jamal specialized in Team management, Leadership and Peacekeeping roles in developing countries.  He received various courses related to these areas. From 1998 to 2001, he served with distinction and played active role in leading the UN team in the East of Afghanistan during both the pre-evacuation and post-evacuation period. Jamal possesses extensive knowledge in detailed coordination and planning logistical deployments, ranging from small team to large-scale operations.  He holds the credit of being a leading UN team negotiator in Blue Nile State-Sudan in 2005, as well as in the Eastern region of Afghanistan from 1998 to 2001.

During his International assignment in Sudan, Jamal played a crucial role as a part of Peacekeeping Mission. He contributed to the implementation and monitoring of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) between North and South Sudan in Blue Nile State.

Jamal is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background in the fields of Agriculture, Peacebuilding, and Political Affairs. He completed his Post- graduate studies at renowned institutes in Pakistan and North American, focusing on these areas of expertise. Additionally, Jamal received certifications in Leadership, Crisis Management, and Advanced Field Operational Services, further enhancing his skill set.

Jamal has an wide experience in public relations, having worked with corporations, public and the media. He is actively involved in fundraising for ADAM welfare organization, and personally contributes to their efforts. Currently, he serves as the CEO of EMDAO NGO and Ambassador of the ADAM welfare organization, which works for the welfare of disabled and vulnerable communities in Afghanistan.

Recognized professional services, Jamal has received numerous awards for his exceptional performance over five years from UNDP. Furthermore, he has been honoured with certificates of appreciation for his professional achievements and personal contribution to humanitarian services and for creating a positive change on a global scale through the UN system.
